This combination of a safari through three of Tanzania’s most spectacular parks and a beach vacation on one of the most beautiful tropical islands on the planet, is a perfect chance to make memories. Arrival

DAY 1

You will fly into Kilimanjaro (JRO) Airport near Arusha, Tanzania. After picking up your bags, our Above Safaris staff will meet you and escort you to your hotel in Arusha. The hotel will be informed about your special occasion which means you'll be pampered from the time you arrive. You are free to spend the evening relaxing at the hotel before dinner.

Maasai Boma Celebration

DAY 2

After breakfast, your Guide will pick you up at your hotel and you will travel about 1.5 hours to a nearby village where the Maasai tribe lives. You will get a chance to learn about their lives and dynamic relationship with the land and wildlife - and at the village you are the guests of honor for a special celebration of your love. After a day in the village, you'll travel to your luxury tented lodge where you will prepare for the first day of your safari.

Tarangire National Park

DAY 3

After breakfast at camp you will travel directly to one of Tanzania's most spectacular parks, Tarangire. Often compared to Serengeti, Tarangire is known for its wide open savannas which are a sanctuary for wildlife - most notably its herds of elephants. It is guaranteed to be a highlight of your adventure. After the day in the park, you'll return to camp where you can spend the evening swimming in the pool or relaxing over drinks in the lodge's lounge before dinner.

Travel to Serengeti

DAY 4

In the morning you will begin your journey to Serengeti, passing through Ngorongoro conservation area on the way. You will be introduced to the park through a half day game drive on the way to your luxury tented lodge. Hailed as the premier safari destination and home to the annual migration of over a million wildebeest, Serengeti offers sights of unimaginable beauty. Spanning over 5700 square miles, you will see much more than glimpses of Tanzania's wildlife. After an afternoon in the park, you will head to your luxury tented lodge where you'll have another opportunity to relax and share a gourmet meal with your partner.

Serengeti National Park

DAY 5

Before the sun comes up the next morning (around 5AM) you will be on your way to the airstrip where your hot air balloon safari departs from. You will have a chance to watch the sun rise over Serengeti's endless plains and see thousands of animals beginning their day. When the hot air balloon touches down you'll be met with a breakfast in the bush. After breakfast, you will continue to explore Serengeti giving you an even greater opportunity to see the intimate moments rarely witnessed by human eyes. After a full day game drive, you will travel to back to camp where you will spend the evening. 

Travel to Ngorongoro

DAY 6

After breakfast, you will head back out to do your last game drive in Serengeti. Around lunch you will make your way out of Serengeti heading towards Ngorongoro Conservation Area where you will overnight at your luxury tented lodge before entering the famous Ngorongoro Crater the next day.

DAY 7

Your final day of the safari begins early in the morning when you will descend into Ngorongoro crater, a volcanic calera that has remained unchanged for millions of years. Inside is a microcosm of Tanzania, home to most of the animal species found throughout the country. With the crater walls serving as a natural enclosure for the area's animals, you have the chance to spot all your favorites - most notably, the park's black rhinos. After leaving the crater, you will return to Arusha where you will overnight before heading to Zanzibar the next day.

Stone Town, Zanzibar

DAY 8

After breakfast, you'll be driven to JRO Airport where your will take a quick flight (about 1 hour) to Zanzibar. Before hitting the white sand beaches you will have the opportunity to explore historic Stone Town. With its cobblestone streets, amazing harbor views and rich history, Stone Town is a great way to begin to experience Zanzibar. In the evening, be sure to stop by the famed Night Market in Forodhani Square where you can get all the delicious fresh seafood you can possibly eat and check out Zanzibar's nightlife at Tatu, a nightclub a short walk from your hotel.

Zanzibar Beaches

DAY 9

After breakfast, you will have a final chance to walk around in Stone Town before traveling to one of Zanzibar's beautiful beaches - in the more populated northeast part of the island or the secluded beaches in the northern tip or the southwest. At the beach you will have tons of opportunities to create memories together - snorkeling in the island's reefs, on a sunset cruise, while getting massages on the beach or even swimming with dolphins. *Optional Add-on: Snorkeling, Scuba Diving, Dolphin Excursion, Sunset Cruise, Spice Tour, etc. Add-on's can be arranged directly with your hotel but if you have specific activities in mind, we're happy to arrange.

In the morning, enjoy your last breakfast in paradise. Take a last dip in the blue green waters and soak up the sun one final time before you head to the airport to return to the real world! Around two hours before your flight you'll be transported to the airport where you will, unfortunately, be headed home.

How do I Reserve my trip?

+ Booking and Deposit

A deposit of 25% of the total trip cost must be submitted to secure your booking.

Payments can be made by bank transfer (must include any transfer fees added by your bank) or by secure credit/debit payment (a 2.9% fee applies to credit or debit payments). During the booking process we will provide instructions for wire transfers and credit/debit payments. Our standard terms and conditions apply.

+ Submitting Balance

The remaining 75% is due 45 days before the trip departs. You are free to submit the balance of the trip costs anytime up to the due date.
